„Foolish Loving Spaces” to trzeci album niezwykle popularnej indie-rockowej formacji Blossoms. Za produkcję płyty Blossoms odpowiadają stali współpracownicy zespołu – James Skelly oraz Rich Turvey z Parr Street Studios w Liverpoolu. Teksty Toma Ogdena dotyczą romantycznych wzlotów i upadków. Myles Kellock na klawiszach zapewnia chwytliwe motywy jak z kultowych gier komputerowych, a gitara Josha Dewhursta nadaje materiałowi filmowego klimatu. Joe Donovan na perkusji i Charlie Salt na basie dbają o taneczny wymiar „Foolish Loving Spaces”. Blossoms tak opowiadają o nagrywaniu albumu: „To czyste uczczenie miłości w każdym jej fascynującym wymiarze. Bawimy się z konceptem grzechu, zakazanych uczuć… W wakacje słuchaliśmy bardzo dużo takich płyt jak „Stop Making Sense”, „The Joshua Tree” czy „Screamadelica”, to były nasze główne inspiracje.” Blossoms powstało w 2013 roku. Debiutancki album, zatytułowany po prostu „Blossoms” (2016), spędził dwa tygodnie na szczycie listy sprzedaży w UK, jak również zapewnił muzykom nominacje do BRIT Award i Mercury Prize. Wydany dwa lata później „Cool Like You” przyniósł takie przeboje jak „I Can’t Stand It”, „There’s A Reason Why (I Never Returned Your Calls)” i „How Long Will This Last?”.
