”Mob Rules” to dziesiąta płyta w dorobku grupy, która ukazała się w 1981 roku. W składzie zespołu pojawił się Vinny Appice, który za perkusją zastąpił Billy’ego Ward’a. Na płycie znalazły się takie klasyki gatunku: 'Falling Off The Edge Of The World' i 'Turn Up The Night”. Całość materiału jest dość mroczna, głównie za sprawą tekstów – w całości autorstwa Ronnie Jamesa Dio.
