Kompozycji jest w sumie 14 i przygotowano je pod wymownym tytułem "A Brand New Me: Aretha Franklin With The Royal Philharmonic Orchestra". Piosenki nagrano w legendarnych Abbey Road Studios w Londynie, z udziałem wspierającej legendę wokalistki, laureatki Grammy Patti Austin. Wspaniale udało się nadać nowe życie klasykom soulu, jednocześnie nie pozbawiając je wyjątkowego klimatu. Wśród "nowonarodzonych" evergreenów można znaleźć, chociażby numery jeden z listy R&B "Billboardu", "Respect", "Think", "Don't Play That Song (You Lied)", "Angel". Płytę wyprodukowali Nick Patrick i Don Reedman. – Miałem 15 lat, kiedy w radiu pojawiła się piosenka "Rock A Bye Your Baby With A Dixie Melody".
