Belgijski zespół Hooverphonic wydał dziesiąty już album „Looking For Stars”. „Miałem ambitny plan, by w tym roku wydać trzy płyty: soundtrack w stylu morricone, album triphopowy oraz wydawnictwo ze skocznymi, funkowymi kawałkami. Zacząłem pisać nowy materiał z właśnie takim zamierzeniem. I wtedy nasza nowa wokalistka, 17-letnia Luka Cruysberghs, nazwała mnie reliktem przeszłości. Zarekomendowała mi, by przyjąć nastawienie Spotify: wybrać z każdego albumu, który wymyśliłem w swojej głowie, najlepsze utwory i stworzyć z nich swojego rodzaju playlistę. Początkowo podchodziłem do tego rozwiązania z rezerwą. Później pomyślałem jednak o „Déjà Vu” Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young – to jedna z moich ulubionych płyt, a jest tam prawdziwy gatunkowy miszmasz. Nasza najnowsza płyta może zostać określona spadkobiercą „In Wonderland”. Liczę, że udało nam się osiągnąć tę różnorodność, którą sam bardzo cenię na płytach” tłumaczy Alex Callier z Hooverphonic. O nowej wokalistce muzycy mówią: „Luka jest kluczowa dla historii, którą opowiadamy. Nie jest po prostu kolejną wokalistką w Hooverphonic. To jej głosem wybrzmią wszystkie piosenki na koncertach.
