Pochodzący z Ameryki wirtuoz trąbki Louis Daniel Armstrong urodził się w 1901 roku w Nowym Orleanie, zmarł natomiast w 1971 roku w Nowym Jorku. Satchmo lub Pops bo takich używał pseudonimów artystycznych był wybitnym jazzmanem, Armstrong wprowadził do jazzu nietypową wokalistykę nazwaną scatem, czym odbił się na kartach historii gatunku. Konikiem jazzmena była oczywiście niebywała i niedościgniona gra na trąbce. Za swoje osiągnięcia w 1990 roku wprowadzono go do Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. 1. Ain`t Misbehavin`      2.
