Zucchero "Sugar" Fornaciari powraca z nowym albumem. Wydawnictwo autora hitów "Senza una donna” i "Baila (Sexy Thing)” nosi tytuł "Black Cat”. Przesycona blues-rockową aurą płyta nawiązuje do atmosfery i spontaniczności bestsellerowego krążka "Oro, Incenso e Birra” – uważanego za najlepszy w dyskografii Zucchero (osiem milionów sprzedanych egzemplarzy) i jednocześnie jednego z najważniejszych fonogramów w historii włoskiej muzyki. Album "Black Cat" będzie promowany w Polsce piosenką "Partigiano Reggiano". Na płycie znajdziemy też utwór "Streets Of Surrender (S.O.S.)”, będący owocem współpracy z Bono. Inspiracją do napisania "Streets Of Surrender” były tragiczne wydarzenia w sali koncertowej Bataclan z listopada 2015 roku, kiedy uzbrojeni zamachowcy otworzyli ogień do bezbronnych widzów podczas występu grupy Eagles Of Death Metal, zabijając 89 osób i raniąc blisko 100 innych. W utworze tym usłyszymy grającego na gitarze Marka Knopflera, który gościnnie udziela się również w piosence "Ci Si Arrende”. Pod produkcją albumu podpisali się T-Bone Burnett (znany ze współpracy z Elvisem Costello czy Eltonem Johnem), Brendan O'Brien (produkował mi.n. płyty Bruce’a Springsteena, Pearl Jam, Boba Dylana) oraz Don Was (producent m.in. Rolling Stonesi Iggy’ego Popa). Zucchero po raz pierwszy zaprezentuje materiał z nowej płyty podczas serii dziesięciu wyjątkowych koncertów, które odbędą się w hali Arena w Weronie między 16 a 27 września. Niedługo później, 11 października, artysta wystąpi w Polsce, na warszawskim Torwarze.
