Jeszcze do niedawna, Egipt kojarzony był wyłącznie z piramidami, pustynią, upalnym słońcem i klątwami faraonów. Jednak w 1981 roku, w Kairze na świat przyszli Aly Amr Fathalah oraz Fadi Wassef Naguib. Dwóch młodych chłopaków, którzy poznali się w przedszkolu, a w późniejszych latach połączyła ich wspólna pasja do muzyki elektronicznej, prezentowanej wtedy przez Paula Van Dyka, The Thrillseekers czy Chicane’a. Prowadzą też własną wytwórnię Future Sound Of Egypt oraz audycję radiową pod tym samym szyldem, która wybrzmiała w eterze już po raz 550. Na tę okazję, przygotowana została trasa koncertowa oraz specjalne, jubileuszowe wydawnictwo.
