Imienna płyta artysty z Alabamy ukazała się pierwotnie w 1972 roku. Teraz pojawia się w wersji zremasterowanej i poszerzonej o dodatkowe kompozycje (w sumie sześć). Całość wyprodukował Tommy Gogbill. Wśród piosenek jest, chociażby porywająca wersja "Burning Love", utworu później przerobionego przez Elvisa Presleya.

Jesienią 1975 roku ukazała się debiutancka płyta niezwykle utalentowanego amerykańskiego gitarzysty Tommy'ego Bolina, byłego muzyka Deep Purple, zatytułowana „Teaser”. Jak nietrudno policzyć, w 2015 roku mija równo 40 lat od tego wydarzenia. Z tej okazji ukaże się specjalna, winylowa edycja pierwszego albumu przedwcześnie zmarłego artysty.Winylowe, jubileuszowe wydanie „Teaser” składa się z trzech czarnych krążków i nosi tytuł „Teaser 40th Anniversary Vinyl Edition Box Set”. Reedycja jest wzbogacona o nagrania w innych miksach, odrzuty z sesji nagraniowych. Przygotowano też dwa krążki CD z nagraniami koncertowymi. Numery pochodzą z koncertów Tommy'ego Bolina w Ebbets Field, The Northern Lights, My Father's Place oraz Albany. Wspaniałe wydawnictwo ukazało się w maju 2015 roku, w Polsce dzięki Warner Music Poland.Przypomnijmy, że Tommy Bolin zmarł 4 grudnia 1976 roku w wieku zaledwie 25 lat, będąc w trakcie trasy koncertowej z Jeffem Beckiem i Peterem Framptonem. Zgubiło go uzależnienie od narkotyków. Amerykanin z Iowa zapowiadał się na wielką gwiazdę gitary. Nie bez powodu to jego Deep Purple (propozycja wyszła od Davida Coverdale'a) wybrali na następcę Ritchiego Blackmore'a. Obowiązki w tym zespole oraz przedwczesna śmierć spowodowały, że Tommy nie miał okazji wypromować pierwszej solowej płyty. Wydawnictwa artysty niezwykle wszechstronnego, który nie tylko w rockowej estetyce odnajdował się świetnie, lecz równie dobrze czuł jazz, bluesa i muzykę latynoską. Warto wspomnieć, że to jego gitarę słychać na legendarnej płycie Billy'ego Cobhama „Spectrum”.Wspomnieć też trzeba, że w nagraniu płyty „Teaser” wspomogli Tommy'ego Bolina doskonali muzycy, między innymi Glenn Hughes, David Sanborn, Jan Hammer, Stanley Sheldon, Phil Collins. Z Deep Purple Amerykanin nagrał tylko jeden studyjny album „Come Taste The Band” (1975). Przed śmiercią ukazała się jeszcze druga studyjna płyta Tommy'ego „Private Eyes”.
