Kiedy w 2009 roku nakładem niezależnej wytwórni Bury Tomorrow wydali swoją debiutancką płytę "Portraits", włodarze Nuclear Blast szybko dostrzegli tkwiący w piątce chłopaków z Hampshire potencjał, i czym prędzej podpisali z nimi kontrakt. Pierwszym efektem współpracy jest prezentowany krążek "The Union Of Crowns", na którym Daniel Winter-Bates (krzyki), Mehdi Vismara (gitara), Jason Cameron (gitara, czyste wokale), brat Daniela, Davyd Winter-Bates (gitara basowa) oraz Adam Jackson (perkusja), prezentują niezwykle dojrzały metalcore, niepozbawiony znakomitych popisów instrumentalnych oraz doskonałych melodii.
