Czwarty album grupy, który powstała z popiołów Slowdive - jednego z najciekawszych brytyjskich zespołów przełomu lat 80. i 90., epoki The Jesus And Mary Chain, My Bloody Valentine, Swervedriver, Chapterhouse i Curve. Mojave 3 założony przez Neila Halsteada, Rachel Goswell i Iana McCutcheona nie zamierzał jednak kontynuować grania muzyki utrzymanej w estetyce "shoegazing". Dwa pierwsze albumy, "Ask Tomorrow" (1996) oraz "Out Of Tune" (1998) - ten drugi nagrany już w składzie poszerzonym o gitarzystę Simona Rowe'a (ex-Chapterhouse) i klawiszowca Alana Forrestera - proponowały muzykę nieporównanie bardziej melodyjną, często sięgającą po elementy country, o wiele bliższą choćby Cowboy Junkies czy Low niż przez wielu nieodżałowanemu Slowdive. Po ukazaniu się trzeciej płyty, "Excuse For Tomorrow" (2000), łączącej to, co najlepsze z poprzednich albumów, Mojave 3 uznany został jednomyślnie za jeden z najbardziej błyskotliwych zespołów brytyjskich schyłku lat 90.
