Na początku lat 90. istniała ogromna liczba zespołów hardrockowych, którym mimo niezwykłego talentu nie udało się zdobyć należnej im popularności. Było to spowodowane głównie przesunięciem się zainteresowań, a media skupiały się prawie wyłącznie na dźwiękach Seattle, a zwłaszcza na pojawiającym się ruchu grunge. To właśnie ta obsesja na punkcie nowego trendu spowodowała, że kilka doskonale sprawnych grup zostało świadomie odsuniętych na boczny tor. Saigon Kick był jednym z takich przykładów. Powstały na Florydzie w późnych latach 80-tych, ten zespół czterech ludzi, kierowany przez wokalistę Matta Kramera i gitarzystę Jasona Bielera, stworzył wyjątkowo mocną markę hard rocka. Był to interesujący zwrot w tradycyjnym rocku i znacznie ostrzejszy, prowadzący do porównań z innymi podobnymi grupami, takimi jak Love/ Hate, Wildhearts, Redd Kross, Cheap Trick i Kings X. Wyprodukowana przez Michaela Wagenera (Skid Row, Extreme, Ozzy Osbourne) i wydany w Atlantic Records płyta została nagrana w szalonym tempie w Los Angeles. Wydany w 1991 roku album sprzedał się dobrze i szybko by potem zniknąć z rynku. Special Deluxe Collector's Edition, Fully Remastered Audio, dwa bonusowe utwory, jeden z najlepszych albumów hard rocka z lat 90, 12-stronicowa pełno kolorowa książeczka, ulepszona grafika z niepublikowanymi zdjęciami.
