Winylowa 180-gramowa (Audiophile Vinyl), limitowana edycja kultowego albumu "Giant Steps" Johna Coltrane'a. Dodano aż 2 utwory bonusowe ! Nagrywanie Giant Steps rozpoczęło się na początku maja 1959 r. od sesji z udziałem Tommy'ego Flanagana na fortepianie i Art Taylora na perkusji oraz Paula Chambersa, który był jedynym muzykiem który tak jak Coltrane, występował każdego dnia.  Po wznowieniu nagrywania w grudniu tego roku pianista Wynton Kelly i perkusista Jimmy Cobb zastąpili Flanagana i Taylora, uzupełniając sekcję rytmiczną ówczesnej grupy Milesa Davisa. Jednak główny nacisk na LP składa się z tenorowych solówek Coltrane'a. Wszystkie siedem utworów wydanych na albumie to kompozycje saksofonisty. Giant Steps był debiutem Johna Coltrane'a w wytwórni Atlantic i potwierdził jego znaczenie na scenie jazzowej. W tym czasie był nadal członkiem grupy Milesa Davisa, która wkrótce nagrała nieśmiertelny Kind of Blue. Zdjęcia do albumu wykonał Francis Wolff (1907–1971), jeden z najbardziej znanych fotografów jazzowych wszechczasów, który był także producentem wykonawczym a jego umiejętności były niezbędne do sukcesu wytwórni Blue Note.
