Tak jak ich debiutancki album "If You Wait", płyta "Truth Is A Beautiful Thing" została skomponowana wyłącznie przez Hannah, Dota i Dana, którzy swoje doświadczenia z trwającej 30 miesięcy trasy koncertowej przełożyli na muzykę na nowym krążku. Do pracy nad płytą trio zaprosiło zdobywcę Oscara, producenta Paulem Epworthem (znanego choćby za współpracy z Florence & The Machine i Bloc Party), nominowanego do nagrody Mercury Jona Hopkinsa (Brian Eno, King Creosote), Grega Kurstina (Sia, Beck) jak również Tima Brana i Roya Kerra, którzy także pracowali nad ich debiutancką płytą "If You Wait". Na albumie znalazły się m.in. utwory "Rooting for You","Big Picture" oraz tytułowy "Truth Is A Beautil Thing". London Grammar są zdobywcami prestiżowej nagrodę Ivor Novello za utwór „Strong”, dwóch nagród AMI Independent Music Awards (Independent Breakthrough of the Year), oraz nominacji do Brit Award w kategorii British Breakthrough Act, za za swój debiutancki album "If You Wait" który został sprzedany w nakładzie prawie 2 mln egzemplarzy na całym świecie.
