Album "American Dollar Bill - Keep Facing Sideways, You’re Too Hideous To Look At Face On" jest efektem spontanicznych sesji nagraniowych grupy Sumac i Keijiego Haino w Tokio. Keiji Haino od początku lat ’70 porusza się w przestrzeni muzyki psychodelicznej, improwizowanej, minimalizmu, noise i drone. W latach 1973-2013 objęty zakazem emisji przez japońską telewizję publiczną NHK, wpółtworzył takie projekty jak Fushitsusha, Vajra czy Nijiumu, a także współpracował m.in. z Peterem Brötzmannem, Derekiem Baileyem, Tatsuyą Yoshida, Pan Sonic czy Jimem O’Rourke.
