Wielkie legendy bluesa na jednej scenie, podczas fantastycznego koncertu Erica Claptona! Na swój koncert w San Diego w 2007 roku "Slowhand" zaprosił innego wielkiego białego bluesamana i swego serdecznego przyjaciela, nieżyjącego już JJ Cale'a, którego piosenki sam chętnie przerabiał, by wymienić chociażby "Cocaine" i "After Midnight". Zapis tej wyjątkowej nocy w Kalifornii ukazuje się na dwóch kompaktach i trzech płytach winylowych.Koncert odbył się 15 marca 2007 roku w iPayOne Center. Clapton promował wówczas nagraną wspólnie z JJ Cale'em kapitalną płytę "Road To Escondido", za którą w 2008 roku otrzymał Grammy w kategorii "Best Contemporary Blues Album". Na scenie, poza głównymi bohaterami wieczoru, pojawili się inni fantastyczni muzycy – choćby Derek Trucks, Doyle Bramhall II, Robert Cray, Steve Jordan. Panowie w porywający sposób zaprezentowali 16 piosenek, wieńcząc wieczór genialną interpretacją "Crossroads" Roberta Johnsona.
