Zwykle na hasło AC/DC natychmiast pojawiają się skojarzenia: "Highway To Hell" i "Back In Black". Po arcykomercyjnym albumie "For Those About To Rock" Malcolm i Angus Young postanowili zrezygnować z usług pana "Mutt" Lange i nagrać materiał bardziej osobisty i brzmiący spontanicznie. Dlatego też sami podjęli się produkcji. I ten cel udało się osiągnąć częściowo już na albumie "Flick Of The Switch", natomiast w pełni został uzyskany dopiero na "Fly On The Wall".
