Debiutancki album legendy rocka progresywnego, brytyjskiej grupy Jethro Tull: "This Was", skończył w 2018 roku 50 lat. W Wielkiej Brytanii płyta "This Was" ukazała się oryginalnie 25 października 1968 roku. Na liście dotarła do 10 pozycji. Był to jedyny album nagrany z gitarzystą Mickiem Abrahamsem, który miał wtedy spory wpływ na kompozycje i ich brzmienie. Kiedy płyta się ukazywała, Jethro Tull grali koncert w londyńskim klubie Marquee. Tym samym, w którym 2 lutego 1968 roku zaczęła się oficjalna historia kapeli Iana Andersona. Od czerwca 1968 zespół regularnie występował w klubie, ponieważ miał w nim kilkumiesięczną rezydenturę. Za nagrania "This Was" muzycy zapłacili z własnej kieszeni. Koszty wyniosły 1200 funtów. Tuż przed premierą amerykańską (3 lutego 1969) Mick Abrahams odszedł i potem założył zespół Blodwyn Pig. Dzięki wsparciu Johna Peela album poradził sobie świetnie, a Jethro Tull wkrótce znalazł następcę Micka w osobie Martina Barre. Utwory na CD zmiksował doskonale w Polsce znany Steven Wilson.

DVD „Theatre Of Death” zostało zarejestrowane podczas finałowego koncertu trasy Alice’a Coopera pod tym właśnie szyldem. Koncert odbył się w 2009 roku w londyńskiej sali Hammersmith Apollo i znalazły się na nim największe przeboje z repertuaru Coopera, m.in.: „School’s Out”, „I’m Eighteen” oraz „Poison”. Mający na koncie ponad 50 milionów sprzedanych albumów Vincent Fournier (prawdziwe nazwisko Alice) jest tu w znakomitej formie.
