To dwupłytowe wydawnictwo stanowi zapis dwóch niewielkich koncertów, które, choć oglądane wówczas przez nielicznych, nagrywane i rozprowadzane były przez wielu. Zremasterowane z oryginalnych taśm starej generacji, które były dotąd w rękach Elektra Records i samych Doorsów, przypominają tamte wydarzenia w nowym, doskonałym brzmieniu. LIVE AT THE MATRIX 1967 przenosi nas tym razem do początków istnienia zespołu i jego dwóch pierwszych koncertów w klubach w San Francisco, jakie odbyły się w Marcu 1967 roku. Przybyła na nie wówczas tylko garstka fanów, więc Jim Morrison, John Densmore, Robby Kreiger i Ray Manzarek mogli pozwolić sobie na swobodne aranżacje i improwizację ulubionych standardów bluesowych. Jak się okazało, ledwie kilka tygodni później drugi singiel zespołu, "Light My Fire” przyniósł mu wielką sławę, przyczyniając się do sprzedaży miliona płyt i obecności The Doors na szczytach notowań. "Był wczesny rok 1967 i The Doors mieli dopiero zagościć w świadomości całego narodu. A tak to wtedy brzmiało,” pisze Manzarek we wkładce do płyty.Pomimo pustki panującej wówczas na koncertach, zespół zagrał z pełnym aangażowaniem, dodając do "The End” oraz "Back Door Man” dodatkowe zwrotki i przedłużone sekcje instrumetalne. "To chyba najprawdziwszy z dokumentów o The Doors, bez żadnych ograniczeń, najlepszy, jaki mógł powstać,” mówi Bruce Botnick, producent płyty i długoletni współpracownik zespołu.
Urodzony w Belgii bard który w wieku 23 lat wyjechał do Francji i to właśnie z tamtejszą piosenką kojarzony jest najbardziej.

Reedycji fantastycznego katalogu mistrza Roberta Wyatta ciąg dalszy. Tym razem trudne do kupienia albumy w winylowych wersjach wydane zostały w ramach niezastąpionej Domino Records. Ładnie wydane edycje płyt Wyatta to absolutny obowiązek dla fanów tego niezwykłego artysty. Ten niepoprawny lewak, od lat przykuty do wózka inwalidzkiego, przemyca w swych smutnych piosenkach iskierkę wiary w utopijny świat ludzkiej solidarności i szczęścia. Był wielkim perkusistą, wielkich Soft Machine. Po nieszczęśliwym wypadku od kilku dziesięcioleci kolejnymi albumami daje nam promyk nadziei na lepsze życie. Tracklista: 1. Just A Bit 2. Old Europe 3.
