Wznowienie debiutanckiej solowej płyty Franka Zappy - jednego z najsłynniejszych amerykańskich muzyków awangardowych XX w. Zappa był muzykiem – samoukiem, kompozytorem, fenomenalnym gitarzystą, doskonałym performerem, producentem, inżynierem dźwięku i reżyserem filmowym. Wciągu trwającej ponad 30 lat kariery tworzył muzykę, która najczęściej wymykała się wszelkim kategoryzacjom. Frank Zappa zmarł w 1993r. z powodu raka prostaty.„Lumpy Gravy” ukazała się oryginalnie w 1968r. i była debiutem solowym Zappy i została nagrana z muzykami sesyjnymi. Pomyślana jako krótkie oratorium płyta powstała zaledwie w 11 dni. Album jest uważany jako pierwsze „poważne” dzieło Zappy. Sam artysta wymieniał „Lumpy Gravy” jako swoją ulubioną płytę.

Tomás Luis de Victoria's requiem mass for six voices, written in 1603 and published in 1605, is a masterpiece. It is one of a handful of large-scale works which enjoys mainstream appeal in the 21st century. For many, it represents what Renaissance polyphony is, what it sounds and feels like, and how expressive it can be.
