Jest to album koncepcyjny, traktującego o pułapkach rozwoju cywilizacji i ekspansji ludzkości w przestrzeń kosmiczną. Do nagrań Czesław Niemen użył m.in. syntezatorów Minimoog i Synthi EMS oraz mellotronu. Wykorzystał również klawinet, gitarę oraz instrumenty perkusyjne i flety. Autorem tekstów "Z listu do M." i "Epitafium" jest Czesław Niemen.
