3-płytowy box zawiera tematy muzyczne do widowisk teatralno-cyrkowych Cirque Du Soleil w wykonaniu Global Stage Orchestra. Każdy pokaz w Cirque du Soleil stanowi syntezę stylów cyrkowych z całego świata mających własną fabułę i temat. W trakcie przedstawienia muzyka jest wykonywana na żywo i sami artyści (a nie personel techniczny) zmieniają dekoracje. Od początku lat 90. Cirque du Soleil rozrastał się bardzo szybko. Album z zapisem spektaklu muzycznego, którego bohaterem jest tragiczne i szalone życie Sergiusza Jesienina. Życie utopione w alkoholu, wspaniałej poezji i niezliczonych romansach. Najgłośniejszy to absurdalny i namiętny związek z legendarną tancerką Isadorą Duncan. A w tle Lenin i krwawa rosyjska rewolucja. Jesienin popełnił samobójstwo mając 30 lat. Ale czy na pewno było to samobójstwo? Na cmentarzu Wagańkowskim, przy grobie Jesienina, trwa ciągle wzruszająco-posępny spektakl. Co dzień pojawiają się świeże kwiaty, poeci czytają swoje wiersze, palą się świeczki i modlą się kobiety. Rosjanie wierzą w samobójczą śmierć Jesienina, nazywają go męczennikiem Rosji. Dla starszych Rosjan jest ten poeta rodzajem świętego, dla młodszych - rosyjskim Jimem Morrisonem. Głównym bohaterem spektaklu są wiersze. Wiersze śpiewane, takie jak: „Moskwa karczemna”, ”Czarny człowiek”, „List do matki” czy „Suka”. Spektakl jest zbudowany w dużej mierze wokół małżeństwa Jesienina z Isadorą Duncan, z którą objechał cały świat, jednak psychicznie na zawsze pozostał przykuty do Rosji. Spektakl miał premierę 27 listopada 2009 roku w Teatrze Ateneum im. Stefana Jaracza w Warszawie. Autorem scenariusza jest Janusz Głowacki, muzykę do wierszy Jesienina skomponowała Olena Leonenko (aranżacja zespołowa). Spektakl wyreżyserował Józef Opalski. Materiał na płytę został zarejestrowany w Teatrze Polskiego Radia w Warszawie 28 grudnia 2009 roku.
