Pochodzący z Niemiec wybitny kompozytor Georg Friedrich Händel, urodzony w 1685 roku w Halle, zmarł w 1759 roku w Londynie. Był on przedstawicielem późnego baroku. W 1727 roku stał się poddanym Wielkiej Brytanii i jest kompozytorem narodowym tego kraju. W jego barkowym repertuarze usłyszymy między innymi: opery i oratoria. Album został wydany przez wytwórnię Ayros (AYHC 03).
