Cykl symfonii Franciszka Schuberta pod dyrekcją Claudio Abbado kierującym The Chamber Orchestra Of Europe uznany został za jedno z najwspanialszych wykonań muzyki symfonicznej niemieckiego romantyka. Dodatkowo w zestawie znalazło się wykonanie uwertury „Rosamunde” oraz orkiestrowa aranżacja Sonaty C-dur na dwa fortepiany przygotowana przez Josepha Joachima.CD 1 58:401 - 4 Symphony no,. 1 in D major D 825 - 8 Symphony no. 2 in B flat major D 125CD 2 57:541 - 4 Symphony no. 2 in D major D 2005 - 8 Symphony no. 4 in C minor D 417 "Tragic" (First recording based on the autograph manuscripts)CD 3 60:431 - 4 Symphony no. 5 in B flat major D 4855 - 8 Symphony no. 6 in C major D 589CD 4 70:421 - 2 Symphony no. 8 in B minor D 759 "Unfinished"First recording based on the autogtraph manuscripts3 - 6 Grand Duo in C major D 812"Symphony" after the Sonata in C major for opiano duet op. post.140 orch.
