Płyta „Landscape of Saxophone” - Łukasza Wójcickiego jest bardzo osobistym podsumowaniem dotychczasowych doświadczeń artysty. Tytuł odwołuje się do utworu Olgi Hans - jako pejzaż, panorama współczesnej sztuki gry na saksofonie, na saksofon w dzisiejszych czasach, a także jako bardzo osobiście potraktowany „portret” instrumentu. Ma on także odzwierciedlać stylistyczną różnorodność i bogactwo barw saksofonowych.  Saksofon w Polsce dla przeciętnego słuchacza kojarzony jest przede wszystkim z muzyką rozrywkową, jazzową - ale nie klasyczną. Jednym z głównych założeń wszystkich działań artysty jest czynny udział w procesie propagowania „polskiego” saksofonu klasycznego i repertuaru saksofonowego. Polska obecnie znalazła się w takim czasie jego rozwoju, że europejskie ośrodki, w tym najważniejszy - francuski, z zaciekawieniem obserwują rodzime poczynania w tym zakresie.  Na płycie znalazły się utwory dobrane starannie i w sposób przemyślany. Jest ona efektem wieloletnich doświadczeń artysty, jego indywidualnych preferencji, poszukiwań i zainteresowań artystycznych, a także zwróceniem się ku nowym perspektywom. Wybrane pozycje są zróżnicowane pod względem stylistycznym, formalnym i brzmieniowym. Część z nich to kompozycje całkowicie nowe, skomponowane przez artystów związanych z łódzką Akademią Muzyczną, pozostałe to utwory rzadko nagrywane, ale konsekwentnie zdobywające swoją pozycję w powszechnym repertuarze saksofonowym.
