Zdzisław Piernik to wybitny tubista, solista, interpretator muzyki współczesnej. Współpracował z wieloma kompozytorami, jego zasługi dla promocji polskiej muzyki na świecie są niebagatelne. Rafał Iwański i Rafał Kołacki z duetu HATI eksplorują muzykę perkusyjną i improwizowaną, bazując na brzmieniu instrumentów akustycznych, głównie etnicznych z różnych stron świata. To spotkanie trzech doświadczonych instrumentalistów reprezentujących różne środowiska i pokolenia, w których twórczości pojawia się wiele wspólnych wątków. W swoich poszukiwaniach fenomenów brzmieniowych zawsze chętnie sięgają po instrumenty preparowane oraz akustyczne obiekty z odzysku. Kwartety Feliksa Mendelssohna były znaczącą częścią repertuaru wykonywanego przez Artemis Quartet na koncertach w 2012 i 2013 roku. Pojawiały się w programach, w których prezentowane były dzieła Beethovena i Schuberta, ale także – co bardziej niespodziewane – obok aranżacji Bacha autorstwa Astora Piazzolli, króla argentyńskiego tanga, zaś Quartet No. 2 w aranżacji jego rodaka – Alberto Ginastery (1916-1983).
