3 Doors Down powracają z nowym albumem! „Us And The Night” to już szósta studyjna płyta autorów hitu „Kryptonite”. „Kiedy nagrywasz kolejne albumy, wszystko powstaje bardziej mechanicznie, bo zaczynasz traktować to zbyt poważnie. Tym razem jednak, podczas prac w studio wszyscy po prostu chcieli się dobrze bawić. To stworzyło świetny klimat. Nie przypominam sobie żebyśmy kiedykolwiek czuli się tak zjednoczeni, jako zespół” – wspomina prace nad płytą Brad Arnold, wokalista 3 Doors Down. Album powstawał w Rivergate Studios w Nahsville w atmosferze wzajemnej współpracy – wszyscy członkowie zespołu z podobnym entuzjazmem zaangażowali się w proces twórczy. W rezultacie brzmienie zespołu wyszło daleko poza to, do którego przywykli fani 3 Doors Down. Do prac nad produkcją płyty zespół zaprosił Matta Wallace’a znanego ze współpracy z Maroon 5, Train, czy Faith No More. „Nie chcieliśmy, żeby to była po prostu kolejna płyta 3 Doors Down. Postanowiliśmy stworzyć album, którego ludzie będą musieli posłuchać” – tłumaczy Brad Arnold. Zmiany w podejściu do muzyki słychać już w pierwszym zwiastunie płyty – singlu „In The Dark”, który pokazuje nowe, zaskakujące oblicze zespołu. „Nigdy przedtem nie mieliśmy sexy piosenki” – mówi o nowym singlu Brad. 3 Doors Down zadebiutowali w 2000r. Sześciokrotnie platynowa płyta zwierała wielki hit „Kryptonite”, który zapoczątkował globalną karierę zespołu. Następnym wydawnictwami były „Away from the Sun” z 2002r. (potrójnie platynowy), „Seventeen Days” z 2005r.
