Legendarny Neil Young prezentuje album „Tuscaloosa”! Wcześniej niepublikowane, 11-utworowe wydawnictwo zawiera materiał Neila Younga z The Stray Gators zarejestrowany na żywo na University of Alabama w mieście Tucaloosa 5 lutego 1973. W okresie 1971-1973, pomiędzy solowymi występami i koncertowaniem z Crazy Horse, Young zmieniał swoje brzmienie tak, by pasowało do materiału, na którym skupiał się podczas trasy z The Stray Gators. Zespół The Stray Gators, którego członkami byli Tim Drummond (bas), Kenny Buttrey (perkusja), Jack Nitzsche (fortepian) i Ben Keith (gitara), nagrał między innymi płyty „Harvest” i „Times Fades Away”. Na albumie „Tuscaloosa” znajdują się wersje live piosenek z debiutanckiej płyty Younga z 1969 („Here We Are In The Years”) i klasyki z „After The Goldrush” (1970) i „Harvest” (1972), które okazały się największymi sukcesami komercyjnymi na początku jego kariery. Album zawiera również powalającą wersję tytułowego utworu z live albumu „Time Fades Away”, który pojawił się dopiero w 1973, a także piosenki z przełomowego klasyka „Tonight’s The Night”, który został wydany w 1975. „Tuscaloosa” został wyprodukowany przez Neila Younga i Elliota Mazera, za mix odpowiadał John Hanlon, a za master – Chris Bellman i Bernie Grundman z pierwotnych taśm analogowych.
