Kompilacja zatytułowana SOME GUYS HAVE ALL THE LUCK ukaże się jako podwójne CD oraz w specjalnej wersji deluxe, wzbogaconej o płytę DVD z materiałami video. Piosenki zostały ułożone chronologicznie, pierwszą płytę otwierają więc te z początków solowej kariery Roda ("Maggie May,” "You Wear It Well”), pochodzące z niezapomnianych albumów Every Picture Tells A Story (1971) oraz Never A Dull Moment (1972). Jest tam również "Stay With Me", będący ukłonem w stronę czasów spędzonych z zespołem The Faces. W drugiej części płyty Stewart wraca do okresu, kiedy powstawały jego słynne ballady - "Sailing," "Tonight's The Night (Gonna Be Alright)," "You're In My Heart" oraz "Da Ya Think I'm Sexy" z wielkiego albumu Blondes Have More Fun (1978).Druga płyta skupia się wokół utworów z lat 80 i 90, usłyszeć więc można "Infatuation,” "Some Guys Have All The Luck,” "Love Touch,” "Forever Young,” a także "Motown Song” z albumu Vagabond Heart (1991). Są tu również "Have I Told You Lately" i "Reason To Believe” - dwa wspaniałe utwory nagrane podczas sesji MTV Unplugged. Płytę zamyka niewydany dotąd "Two Shades Of Blue” nagrany w czasie prac nad When We Were The New Boys w 1998 roku, oparty na samplu z opery Bordina "Książe Igor.”
Tracklista: 1. Cumberland Blues 2. Going Down the Road Feelin’ Bad 3. Mission in the Rain 4. Druga płyta to nagrania koncertowe, w dużej części pochodzące z archiwum Polskiego Radia i wcześniej niepublikowane.Elvis Presley, James Brown, Eric Clapton, John Mayall a także Dżem, Tadeusz Nalepa, Irek Dudek i Wojciech Waglewski – ich twórczość w zaskakujący czasem sposób łamie bariery miedzy gatunkami.
