  Gottfried Finger (c1655-1730) was a virtuoso gambist and wrote extensively for that instrument. Many of his compositions were for the viol, but he also wrote operas. He was born in Olomouc, modern-day Czech Republic, and worked as an instrumentalist at the court of James II of England in the 1680s before becoming a freelance composer.   Finger was in his early thirties when he published his Opus 1, the Sonatae XII pro diversis instrumentis in London und Amsterdam in 1688. The twelve sonatas in this collection show a confident composer brimming with vitality and youthful strength, unifying virtuosity and harmonic, melodic and contrapuntal invention within a coherent and ever ingenious formal structure. The sonatas can be subdivided into four groups, each with an identical instrumentation. Finger succeeds in giving each of these different scorings its own unmistakable and finely nuanced idiom.

"The Live Collection – Remastered" to piąta odsłona serii wznowień albumów Iron Maiden. Na najnowszy zestaw digipaków, składają się dwa znakomite wydawnictwa koncertowe - "Live After Death" i "Rock In Rio". Materiał na płytę "Live After Death" zarejestrowano w marcu 1985 roku w kalifornijskim Long Beach Arena. Koncert odbył się w ramach legendarnej, trwającej rock trasy "World Slavery Tour", w ramach której w sierpniu 1984 roku Iron Maiden odwiedzili Polskę. Na tournée złożyło się 187 zagranych na całym świecie występów, dzięki którym Iron Maiden stali się jedną z największych grup na planecie. "Live After Death" - który zawiera dodatkowo utwory z show, który odbył się w londyńskim Hammersmith Apollo - powszechnie uważany jest za jeden z najlepszych koncertowych albumów wszech czasów. Zestaw "Rock In Rio" zarejestrowano 19 stycznia 2001 roku, podczas ostatniego koncertu Iron Maiden w ramach trasy "Brave New World". Pod sceną pojawiło się 100 tysięcy fanów, a całość była retransmitowana w telewizjach na całym świecie. "The Live Collection – Remastered" to następca czteroczęściowej serii "The Studio Collection – Remastered", na którą złożyło się 16 studyjnych albumów Iron Maiden. Nagrania wypełniające krążki pochodzą z tych samych remasterowanych materiałów, co te z serii Mastered dla iTunes z 2015 roku. Wersje te po raz pierwszy zostały udostępnione na CD.
