Described in 1987 by Yehudi Menuhin as “one of the most generously cultivated of men… He is a musician gifted with enormous talent, both creative to composer and executive - a wonderful pianist”, Louis Kentner settled in Britain where he quickly distinguished himself for his daring and monumental piano recitals. He gave the European première of Bartók’s Third Piano Concerto and, as these recordings testify, was a devoted and untiring advocate for the music of Liszt. His recordings of Csárdás Macabre and En Rêve were the very first to appear on disc. Kentner also championed Mili Balakirev whose Sonata in B flat minor here receives its first recording: “Louis Kentner plays the work superbly, with all the requisite virtuosity yet without any lack of delicate poetic insight” (The Gramophone, August 1951).

Winylowa reedycja z 2011 roku albumu legendy rocka progresywnego, grupy Pink Floyd, oryginalnie wydanego w 1987 roku. "A Momentary Lapse Of Reason" był jednocześnie pierwszym wydawnictwem angielskiej formacji bez Rogera Watersa, który pożegnał się z kolegami w 1985 roku. Sesja nagraniowa wyprodukowanej przez Davida Gilmoura i Boba Ezrina płyty odbyła się w dużej mierze na zacumowanej na Tamizie łodzi gitarzysty "Astoria". Dodatkowe nagrania odbyły się już na lądzie, w Londynie oraz Los Angeles. Na "A Momentary Lapse Of Reason" znalazło się kilka kolejnych kompozycji, które dołączyły do bogatej kolekcji klasyków Pink Floyd i osiągnęły niemały komercyjny sukces. Chodzi przede wszystkim o "Learning To Fly" i "On The Turning Away". Choć z początku krytykowany, album osiągnął status multiplatynowy. Tylko w USA cztery razy pokrył się platyną. Wielkim sukcesem okazała się też promująca go światowa trasa koncertowa. Jej efektem była znakomita płyta live "Delicate Sound Of Thunder". Warto wspomnieć, że w sesji nagraniowej do "A Momentary Lapse Of Reason" uczestniczyło kilku wybornych muzyków, choćby perkusiści Tony Levin, Jim Keltner i Carmine Appice. Tracklista: Side A1.
