2-płytowa reedycja albumu wydanego w 1995 roku. Nagrania zostały zremasterowane. Wydano w eleganckim digibooku. "The Sky Moves Sideways" – trzeci album angielskiego zespołu Porcupine Tree. Ze względu na strukturę często porównywany do albumu "Wish You Were Here" grupy Pink Floyd (rozbudowany utwór, podzielony na dwie części, umieszczone na początku i końcu albumu). W 2004 została wydana zremasterowana wersja albumu, zawierająca na nowo nagrane przez Gavina Harrisona partie perkusji (wcześniej był to automat perkusyjny i inne elektroniczne instrumenty perkusyjne obsługiwane przez Wilsona. Utwór "Moonloop" w tej wersji zawiera trzy minuty materiału wcześniej nagranego na minialbumie zatytułowanym Moonloop i podzielony jest na dwie części. Jest to jedyna wersja albumu zawierająca zarówno Prepare Yourself, jak i Stars Die.
