All the music in this eclectic programme reflects the phenomenal influence of gypsy music on both classical and jazz music in the 20th century – even when wearing smart ‘classical’ clothes, the music of the gypsies cannot disguise its honesty, directness and the heart beating inside the clothes. So here we have Bartók and Kodály, the two great Hungarian composers who made comprehensive studies of folk music, alongside the world of jazz, represented by John Lewis’s Django, and the Weather Report tracks. The music also has strong connections with Viktoria Mullova’s background. Viktoria Mullova hails from the Ukraine, where only two generations ago, her family lived simple lives, living off the land in a small village. The simple peasant qualities – calmness, honesty and simplicity – are very much part of her. Although she has conquered the most sophisticated works of Western classical music, the music on these CDs shares something of her other side.

Na początku 2017 roku zespół The Kelly Family powrócił po kilkunastu latach z albumem „We Got Love”. Krążek zadebiutował na 1. miejscu najpopularniejszych wydawnictw w Niemczech. Sprzedano ponad 700 tys. egzemplarzy, a na koncertach promujących płytę pojawiło się ponad 400 tysięcy fanów. To sukces, którego nie spodziewał się sam zespół. – Nasze doświadczenia z tej trasy są niezapomniane. Noc za nocą, ludzie w każdym wieku, rodzice z dziećmi, mnóstwo nowych fanów, wszyscy zbieraliśmy się, by celebrować muzykę i życie. Śmialiśmy się, tańczyliśmy, wzruszaliśmy i imprezowaliśmy razem – wspomina zespół. Trasa „We Got Love” zakończyła się 24 i 25 sierpnia 2018 triumfalnymi koncertami na otwartej scenie Loreley – miejscu, w którym odbyły się legendarne występy z czasów „Over The Hump” w 1995 roku. 30 tysięcy fanów wyśpiewało wraz z The Kelly Family największe przeboje. Wydarzenie zostało udokumentowane na wydawnictwie „We Got Love – Live At Loreley”. Na liście utworów nie zabrakło znanych na całym świecie największych przebojów, ale w trackliście pojawiają się również smaczki dla najwierniejszych fanów The Kelly Family. Koncertowe wydawnictwo zawiera nowe wersje piosenek, które zespół zagrał podczas występu w Loreley w 1995, w tym m.in. „Let It Be”, „The Rose”, „Let My People Go” i „Sick Man”. Rarytasy takie jak hiszpańskojęzyczne „Madre Tan Hermosa” towarzyszą singlom „Nanana” czy „Brothers and Sisters”. DVD i Blu-Ray zawierają dodatkowo making-of oraz zapis ceremonii wręczenia pięciokrotnej złotej płyty za krążek „We Got Love”.
