Kari to polska artystka, producentka, od 2013 roku mieszkająca w Wielkiej Brytanii. W swoim dorobku ma dwie autorskie płyty “Daddy Says I’m Special” (Nextpop, 2011) i “Wounds And Bruises”  (Nextpop, 2013). „I Am Fine” to przełom w twórczości Kari. Na swojej trzeciej płycie artystka zaskakuje, pokazując zupełnie inne muzyczne oblicze. W porównaniu do poprzednich albumów, pełnych eterycznych dźwieków i delikatności, na „I Am Fine“ piosenki brzmią dynamicznie i promieniują energią. Styl kompozycyjny Kari ewoluował, album brzmi nowocześnie i świeżo, jednocześnie nawiązując do stylu lat 80. Dla dotychczasowych fanów Kari, „I Am Fine” to kolejne naturalne wcielenie artystki, dla poszukujących nowych brzmień i dobrego popu to okazja do odkrycia jednej z najbardziej oryginalnych polskich artystek muzyki pop. Nowy materiał może przywoływać skojarzenia z twórczością GRIMES, the KNIFE, MØ, Björk,  czy soundtrackiem serialu Stranger Things Album zawiera 11 nowych piosenek.
