W istniejącym od ponad 30 lat zespole Queensrÿche doszło do zaskakujących zmian. Ta amerykańska grupa grająca rock progresywny zwolniła w 2012 roku wokalistę Geoffa Tate'a, który występował w niej od samego początku (zastąpił go Todd La Torre z grupy Crimson Glory). Ten niezadowolony z decyzji skierował sprawę do sądu, który do czasu ostatecznego rozstrzygnięcia (jest spodziewane pod koniec 2013 roku) obu stronom konfliktu pozwolił używać nazwy zespołu. Geoff był szybszy od byłych kolegów - pod koniec kwietnia wydał krążek Frequency Unknown, opatrując go nazwą Queensrÿche, ale ten prawdziwy album prawdziwego Queensrÿche dopiero przed nami. Ukaże się 25 czerwca 2013 w wersji CD, LP (wraz z dołączonym CD) oraz limitowanej 2CD z bonusowymi utworami.
