Kiedy Tadd Mullinix z Ann Arbor zaczął eksplorować hip-hop pod nazwą Dabrye, dopracował się zaskakującej wizji tego, czym może być ten gatunek: genialnym, wyrafinowanym, odważnym. Wizja ta pojawiła się na dwóch albumach dla Ghostly International: 2001 "One/ Three" i jego kontynuacji 2006 "Two/ Three" i z każdą płytą zdobywał uznanie jako jeden z najlepszych w swojej generacji. Pod koniec 2000 roku Mullinix postawił monstrum Dabrye na lodzie i poświęcił się innym gatunkom i pomysłom.  Wszystko to zmienia się w 2017 roku, kiedy Dabrye sprawia, że jego długo oczekiwany powrót z "Three/ Three", ostrym jak brzytwa albumem rap, doprowadza do końca prorocką trylogię. Wśród gości jest legenda indie rapu Doom, opowiadacz Wu Tang Ghostface Killah, słowna fanatyk Jonwayne oraz surrealistyczna surrealistka Long Island Roc Marciano.  Co najważniejsze, "Three/ Three" jest, podobnie jak jego poprzednik, nieskrępowaną celebracją talentu w Detroit z Guilty Simpsonem, Phatem Katem, Kadence, Quelle Chris, Dannym Brownem, Shigeto, Clear Soul Forces i innymi.
