Album zawiera aż 23 największe hity Ritchie Valensa w tym między innymi: "Donna", "La Bamba", "Little Girl", "Cry,Cry, Cry", "Come On, Let's Go", "Dooby Dooby-Wah". Ritchie Valens, właśc. Richard Steven Valenzuela (ur. 13 maja 1941 w Pacoimie, zm. 3 lutego 1959 w Clear Lake) – amerykański muzyk rockowy, wokalista, gitarzysta i kompozytor pochodzenia meksykańsko-hiszpańskiego. Jeden z pionierów rock and rolla. Jako pierwszy wprowadził do rocka elementy muzyki latynoskiej. W czasie swej pierwszej sesji nagraniowej nagrał swój wielki przebój, który uczynił go sławnym. Była to zapomniana już dzisiaj "Donna", pean napisany dla szkolnej przyjaciółki Valensa. Na stronie B wydanego singla znalazła się inna piosenka, początkowo niezauważona, z czasem stała się jednym z największych przebojów muzyki pop, unieśmiertelniając imię Valensa. Była to słynna "La Bamba", rockowa przeróbka meksykańskiej piosenki biesiadnej. Tak dobrze rozpoczęta kariera muzyczna została nagle przerwana tragiczną śmiercią artysty. 3 lutego 1959 zginął w wypadku lotniczym, nazwanym później "dniem, w którym umarła muzyka". W tym samym wypadku zginęli także dwaj inni muzycy rockowi: Buddy Holly i Jiles Perry Richardson. W 2001 Ritchie Valens pośmiertnie został wprowadzony do Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. Tracklista: 1.
