Jeff Beck, jeden z najbardziej wpływowych gitarzystów w historii muzyki, kilkanaście miesięcy temu świętował wspaniały jubileusz 50-lecia kariery. Z tej okazji artysta zagrał wyjątkowy koncert w pamiętającej wiele niezapomnianych koncertów sali Hollywood Bowl w Los Angeles. Zapis tego wydarzenia najpierw ukazał się na winylu. Wkrótce dostępny będzie także na płycie kompaktowej. W Hollywood Bowl Jeff zagrał porywający set, w którym znalazły się nagrania zarówno z czasów, gdy grał w legendarnym zespole The Yardbirds, jak i wybór kompozycji ze wspaniałej, kilkudziesięcioletniej kariery solowej. Jim Reeves a właściwie James Travis Reeves urodził się 20 czerwca 1923 roku w Galloway we wschodnim Texasie był najmłodszym z dziewiątki rodzeństwa. Gdy się pojawiło pierwsze radio Jim słuchał miejscowej stacji z Shreveport piętnastominutowych sobotnich programów z muzyką country i nadal ćwiczył grę na gitarze. W 1952 roku zatrzymal się wraz z żoną w Shreweport i tam dorabiał w programie na żywo KWKH Lousiana Hairide jako prezenter. Były to sobotnie programy z gwiazdami które występowały na żywo przed liczną widownią. Tam też jednego sobotniego wieczoru miał zapowiedzieć legendę country - Hanka Williamsa ten jednak z powodu silnej niedyspozycji (przedawkowanie- tak mówią inne żródła) wypełnił lukę w występie śpiewając swoje i innych wykonawców utwory zaśpiewał między innymi "Wagon of love" i na ten występ Jima zwrócił uwagę producent Fabor Robinson i na prywatnej audiencji został podpisany kontrakt na singel, nagrano wtedy "Wagon Of love" i "Mexican Joe" nagrań dokonano w wytwórni Abbott Reccording Company of Hollywood. Dla wytwórni Abbott razem nagrał 36 tytułów, później przejeła Jima wytwórnia RCA.
