This new release is an IN MEMORIAM album for Yakov Kreizberg, a conductor who made a lot of recordings for PentaTone a lot of them with Julia Fischer. He was Music Director of the Netherlands Philharmonic Orchestra and Netherlands Chamber Orchestra. He also was principal guest conductor of the Wiener Symphoniker. All Julia Fischer’s concerto recordings are accompanied by Yakov Kreizberg. He died last year, age 51. This double SA-CD is offered for the price of 1 ½ top price SA-CD.
