Zespół Blackmore's Night powstał w drugiej połowie lat 90. Jego twórcą jest były gitarzysta Deep Purple, Ritchie Blackmore, który do współpracy namówił swoją partnerkę, wokalistkę Candice Night. W odróżnieniu od swojej wcześniejszej twórczości, Blackmore postanowił połączyć pod nowym szyldem muzykę renesansową z rockiem.Debiutancka płyta grupy, zatytułowana "Shadow Of The Moon", ukazała się w 1997 roku. The Everly Brothers to amerykański duet wokalny śpiewający wczesnego rock and rolla oraz folk rock i country rock. Duet tworzyli bracia Don Everly (ur. 1 lutego 1937 w Brawnie, Kentucky) i Phil Everly (ur. 19 stycznia 1939 w Chicago zm. 3 stycznia 2014). Duet ten był jednym z filarów rozwoju rock and rolla i muzyki country. Duet śpiewał w harmonii dwugłosowej słodkie, melodyjne piosenki o miłości. Zainicjowany przez nich właśnie taki sposób śpiewu znalazł licznych naśladowców, w szczególności wśród muzyków country, ale także i rocka.
