In their hands the Baroque music sounds naturally next to polkas or Galician procession marches. Renée’s good performance doesn’t know of borders and her viola sings next to Carlos’ mandola as if it were a natural accompaniment.Oblivious to technological trends, both performers shut themselves up in the room of music to enjoy and rediscover rhythms and melodies, revealing the immutable charm of these old tunes.
