Omnivore Recordings postanowiło wznowić cztery płyty zawierające 60 utworów, w których Rogersowi towarzyszą pianista Johnny Costa, basista Carl McViker i perkusista Bobby Rawsthorne. Program "Mister Rogers' Neighborhood", który trafił na antenę telewizyjną ponad 50 lat temu, stał się ważnym elementem życia wielu dzieci i dorosłych. Choć miłość do programu nigdy nie zniknęła, dokument Morgana Neville'a "Won't You Be My Neighbor?" z 2018 roku rozbudził ją na nowo. Poszukiwany przez fanów klasyk po raz pierwszy ukazuje się na CD i w formacie cyfrowym. Komentarzem dzieło opatrzyli laureat Oscara i Grammy, reżyser Morgan Neville i pisarz Bill Kopp. Kiedy program "Mister Rogers' Neighborhood" trafił na ekrany w latach 60., nikt nie przypuszczał jak wielki wpływ będzie mieć aż do dziś. Jednym z powodów była muzyka. Gospodarz i autor piosenek Fred Rogers znalazł idealnego akompaniatora w osobie Johnny'ego Costy.  Jego występy pomogły widzom poznać jazz. W 1986 roku Rogers i Costa po raz ostatni połączyli siły i tak powstał album "Johnny Costa Plays Mister Rogers' Neighborhood Jazz". W sesji udział wzięli także basista Carl McViker i grający na instrumentach Bobby Rawsthorne i razem wzięli na warsztat 13 klasycznych utworów Rogersa, dając im nowe życie. Wydawnictwo od dziesięcioleci było niedostępne w sprzedaży, osiągając zawrotne ceny na aukcjach.
