Blues Pills jest określany przez recenzentów jako efekt jam session Arethy Franklin i Led Zeppelin. Debiutancki album zespołu, który ukazał się w 2014 roku, znalazł się na czwartym miejscu na listach przebojów, a dwa lata później jego następca, „Lady In Gold” trafił na pierwsze miejsce.
