„Radio California” to album, którego pomysłodawcą jest Marek Niedźwiecki. Marek Niedźwiecki: „(…) Radio California. W hołdzie dla listy przebojów American Top 40. Casey Kasem prowadził te notowania od 1970 roku. Był dla mnie mistrzem. Zacząłem słuchać tej listy około 1972 roku. Byłem jej wierny bardzo długo. Zwłaszcza w latach 70., kiedy to, jak wiadomo, powstała cała najwspanialsza muzyka świata. W naszym zestawie jest więc przewaga lat 70., to zrozumiałe. Same piękne wspomnienia. Większość z tych piosenek pierwszy raz usłyszałem w American Top 40. (…) Zapisywałem je sobie w zeszycie w kratkę. To była moja pierwsza encyklopedia muzyczna.Obie płyty są pudełkiem czekoladek.
