Kroke to zespół, który święci tryumfy na światowej scenie muzycznej od wielu lat. Początkowo był kojarzony jedynie z muzyką klezmerską, a w swojej obecnej twórczości sięga po inspiracje do muzyki etnicznej i autorskie improwizacje. W ten sposób zespół stworzył własny, unoszący się ponad granicami i formami styl występując na całym świecie z wybitnymi artystami od Petera Gabriela, Tomasza Stańko po Nigela Kennedy’ego. Kroke obchodzi w 2017 roku 25-lecie swojej działalności artystycznej. Z tej okazji ukazuje się dwupłytowy album "The Best Of" z najważniejszymi utworami z całego okresu działalności zespołu. Nagrany w 1986 album Moonlight Shadows wybitnej instrumentalnej brytyjskiej grupy The Shadows zawiera w ich interpretacji światowe hity takich wykonawców jak Dire Straits ("Walk Of Life"), Procol Harum ("A Whiter Shade Of Pale"), Police ("Every Breath You Take"), Moody Blues ("Nights In White satin"), Beatles ("Hey Jude") i wielu innych. Grupa The Shadows powstała we wrześniu 1959 roku pod nazwą The Drifters jako zespół akompaniujący Cliffowi Richardowi. Po spopularyzowaniu w USA hitu "Living Doll" w wykonaniu Cliffa Richarda zespół zmienił nazwę na The Shadows. Chodziło o uniknięcie konfliktu z zespołem o nazwie The Drifters działającym na rynku amerykańskim. Następnie po odejściu Richarda rozwijali swoją wspaniałą karierę w latach sześćdziesiątych, grając z przerwami do dnia dzisiejszego.
