„Na „Leaving The 3rd Dimension” znalazło się dziewięć kompozycji. Słuchając muzyki Beyond The Event Horizon / BTEH, ma się wrażenie, że muzycy bardziej oscylują w kręgu progresywnego rocka i art rocka („Together”, „Away From Home”, „Long Distance”, czy otwierający album „Dark Matter”), a nawet muzyki elektronicznej (doskonały cover utworu „Love On A Real Train” Tangerine Dream i nie mniej świetne wideo do tejże kompozycji, czy niezwykle mroczny i tajemniczy „Inverted Sunrise”). Oczywiście na płycie nie brakuje mocniejszych momentów, przypominających nam, że grupa absolutnie nie zerwała ze swoimi metalowo-alternatywnymi korzeniami , ale tym razem pierwszoplanową rolę oprócz gitary Adama Kowalka pełnią również instrumenty klawiszowe Tytusa Adamczewskiego, które wydaje się były nieco schowane na pierwszej płycie zespołu.
