Grupa Whitney ogłosiła premierę "Light Upon The Lake: Demo Recordings". Płyta ukazuje się 10 listopada nakładem wytwórni Secretly Canadian. Album zwierać będzie pierwotne wersje utworów, które znalazły się na debiucie zespołu oraz nieopublikowaną dotąd piosenkę "You and Me". Pierwszy album zespołu "Light Upon The Lake" powstał podczas porannych sesji w trakcie jednej z najostrzejszych zim w Chicago. Wokalista i perkusista Julien Ehrlich oraz gitarzysta Max Kakacek pracowali nad utworami o szerokiej tematyce. Po intensywnej trasie w 2016 r. związanej z promocją albumu zespół postanowił wrócić do korzeni. Krążek zabierze słuchaczy do początków twórczości zespołu. "Po prawie dwóch latach intensywnego życia w trasie postanowiliśmy zamknąć rozdział "Light Upon The Lake" publikując utwory w ich pierwotnej formie.
