Dwie płyty znakomitych indiepopowców z Nowego Jorku po wyjątkowo atrakcyjnej cenie. Zespół jest laureatem Grammy za piosenkę "We Are Young" nagraną z udziałem Janelle Monáe (a także drugiej statuetki dla "Najlepszego nowego artysty"), a pochodzącą z będącego częścią zestawu drugiego krążka "Some Nights" z 2012 roku. Fun zadebiutował trzy lata wcześniej płytą "Aim And Ignite". "Tak powinien brzmieć pop" - pisał jeden z recenzentów. Inny dodawał: "To progresywny materiał, w najlepszym znaczeniu tego słowa". Chwalono teksty piosenek za to, że nie są płytkie i odnoszą się do istotnych aspektów życia człowieka, a także to, iż są pełne inteligentnego humoru. Nate Ruess, Andrew Dost i Jack Antonoff chwaleni byli również za ciekawe aranżacje. Za produkcję zaś odpowiadał Steven McDonald, który może się pochwalić współpracą z The White Stripes, Tenacious D, The Format. Produkcję dwójki nowojorczycy powierzyli innemu zestawowi osób. Za brzmienie odpowiadali tym razem laureat Grammy Jeff Bhasker (m.in. Bruno Mars), Emile Haynie (The Roots) i Jake One (m.in. Whiz Kalifa, Cypress Hill). Poza wspomnianą "We Are Young" świetnie radziła też sobie piosenka tytułowa. Album w USA doszedł do miejsca trzeciego i o oczko niżej w Wielkiej Brytanii.
