Johannes Kalitzke conducts the Munich Chamber Orchestra in this production of Chaya Czernowin's opera recorded in 2000. Performed without a traditional libretto, the work is told from the point of view of children, following the story of a young boy who meets his grandfather who is a Holocaust survivor. The cast includes Richard Beek, Philip Larson and Elias Maurides.

Był pierwszym czarnoskórym laureatem tego konkursu. Urodził się w Nottingham i jest dumny ze swojego pochodzenia. Ma sześcioro rodzeństwa – wszyscy grają na instrumentach.
