Fani klasyków popu i synthpopu, niemieckiej formacji Alphaville, czekali na to od dawna i w końcu się doczekali. Fantastyczny debiut grupy, płyta "Forever Young" z 1984 roku, po 35 latach od premiery ukazuje się ponownie. Płyta "Forever Young" miała premierę 27 września 1984 roku. Parę miesięcy wcześniej, 12 stycznia 1984, ukazał się promujący album singiel z utworem "Big In Japan", który okazał się później wielkim przebojem i uczynił z Alphaville gwiazdę światowego formatu. Piosenka wspięła się na szczyty list w Niemczech, Szwecji, Szwajcarii oraz dotarła do pierwszej dziesiątki na Wyspach.  Niedługo później Marian Gold, Bernhard Lloyd i Frank Mertens przystąpili do nagrań piosenek na album "Forever Young", który do dziś cieszy się niesłabnącą popularnością. Przed premierą albumu ukazał się jeszcze utwór "Sounds Like A Melody", a wspaniała tytułowa ballada pojawiła się jako singel w dniu ukazania się płyty (później przerabiali ją między innymi Imagine Dragons, Jay-Z, Kim Wilde). Album trzykrotnie pokrył się złotem w Niemczech, a w sześciu krajach znalazł się w Top 10 notowań. "Moja muzyczna kariera zaczęła się z przytupem" – mówi wokalista Marian Gold. "Kiedy ukazał się "Big In Japan", zdobył szturmem europejskie listy, a ja wciąż pracowałem w kuchni restauracji w Münster i obierałem ziemniaki. Szef kuchni powiedział mi w pewnym momencie: "Chłopie, twoją piosenkę grają w radiu co godzinę", a potem mnie zwolnił". „Forever Young” w ukazuje się po raz pierwszy w wersji zremasterowanej jako edycja super deluxe na potrójnym CD, DVD i pojedynczym winylu, w postaci podwójnego kompaktu oraz pojedynczego analogu. Wydanie CD wzbogacone będą o dysk z singlami, stronami B oraz wersjami z 12-calówek. Będą też wersje demo utworów. Super Deluxe Version oprócz zremasterowanego albumu na CD, singli, zawiera też nie tylko wersje demo, lecz również pierwsze piosenki napisane przez Alphaville w języku niemieckim.  Do kompletu mamy 24-stronicową książeczkę w wymiarze bookletu do płyty winylowej, stworzoną przez autora oryginalnej oprawy graficznej w ścisłej współpracy z zespołem. Szereg zdjęć w niej nie było wcześniej publikowanych. Muzycy popełnili notki w książeczce. Wypowiedzieli się też producenci, Colin Pearson i Wolfgang Loos. Ich, a także muzyków można podziwiać również na dołączonym do wersji super deluxe DVD, na którym znalazł się 60-minutowy dokument "Never Grow Up – The Story Of Forever Young", a także oryginalne teledyski do "Forever Young", "Big In Japan", "The Jet Set", "Sounds Like A Melody".
