Historia Eruption zaczyna się w 2003 roku i obfituje w liczne zwroty akcji. W skrócie przedstawia się następująco: włoski gitarzysta rockowy Santi wyjechał do Australii i tam zmontował grupę grającą głównie własne wersje , tzw. covery, metalowo i hard-rockowych przebojów sławnych kolegów z Guns'n Roses, AC / DC czy Van Halen. Nazwali się Mobstar. Zaczęli pisać własne utwory. Jako że na koncertach spotykali się z niezwykle żywiołową reakcją publiczności postanowili spróbować szczęścia w Europie. Przenieśli się do Anglii, gdzie po wielu zmianach składu i problemami ze znalezieniem odpowiedniej wytwórni zmienili nazwę na Eruption i odnieśli oszałamiający sukces koncertowo wydawniczy.
